so what would you prefer..

1, beating bolton, followed by more rubbish from sb in the games too follow..?

2, losing at home to bolton and sb sacked on monday?

me (season ticket holder)..would prefer option 2..

i werent there yesterday but sounds like another man city away last time we were in the prem (worst ever performance from the blues EVER)..same manager same rubbish..

I mean i want to be entertained down there (st andrews), shots on/off target, away keeper making some saves,..
(not gonna happen under bruce)..playing well and winning...

could go on, but am off to support the other blues (chelsea)..for the next 2 hours anyhow..

keep right on.

I understand exactly where you're coming from and I know why people are saying it but I can never ever say I want the Blues to lose. Sorry.

Even if we we'e to lose to bolton in a fortnight Bruce still wouldnt be sacked anyway. I hope we crush Botlon and go on to have a successful season (staying up).

A newly promoted team struggling. Who would of thought it.

Don't panic!

Performances are up and down, but what else do you expect this season with 12 new players fitting in, and everyone adjusting to the Prem!

It is good that we have a two week break. Time for settling down and getting to know each other.

You will see a different line up against Bolton. For starters, Djourou will replace Jaidi (who will only be used sparingly this season, and was always only meant as such), Oubina will fill gap left by Djourou in midfield and Sadler will return at left back.

It is still a time for adjustment, and patience will be rewarded.

:Blues:

PS. Good for you watching the vile, even if hoping they will lose I am not able to do that

Exactly like they did 2 years ago.....??

Although im against Bruce, i would choose option 1 as you can't wish your own team to lose, even if Bruce did get sacked. However, if we did lose, i would want Bruce to be sacked on Monday :)

Bluebel....well your told not to panic, there is obviously something to panic about!

Panicking early isnt negativity, it just gives more chance of that problem being fixed.

On another note, do you think Paul Jewell would do ok for us if Bruce did go?

Hang on, everyone seemed to be touting us for an easy season and top 10 finish pre season.....

Here is the poll i did, shows most people having us crusing at 14th or above....

I want SB out so much and have done for at least the last 3 seasons, but sorry I never want the Blues to lose any game.

I cant understand why people say they arent too disappointed over losing yesterday as they expected it. I was mad with us losing and especially the nature of the way we lost

I honestly can't believe that you are a blues fan! You would rather see the team lose just to get rid of the manager, get a life.

Nice sentiment, but the fact is that a number of the squad will be away on international duty.

In fact continuing on the political theme, it strikes me that Steve Bruce is our very own "President Ahmadinejad".

Most people know that if he remains in position he will cause a catastrophy.

The problem is, very few people have the stomach to support his removal.

Uncanny!

Construe it as ridicule if it suits your agenda Blacksmith. The point I am making is that I have been reading your posts for many a year, and they always have the sound of Nero plucking strings in the background.

It is just that your man hasn't the decency to apologise to the 1100 plus of us who went up there yesterday. Still, that's the mark of the man isn't it? Praise the fans when he nicks the occasional success on the road, but forget they were even there when disaster strikes.

Perhaps unlike the "proper fans" who were at Derby away last season, yesterday's supporting cast were lifted straight from the Middlesbrough dole queue and told to wear Blue and to keep their traps shut.

Some of us remember West Ham and Man City away, and a repeat of those results are around the corner.

Yes, I remember you attacking me before because my views about Bruce didn't fit your agenda. I get a bit fed up by the bullying tactics of some people on this forum who spout their mantra and belittle all those who disagree.

Just watched viler on MOTD and if they play like that and we're the same as now, they'll rip us a new one. That's all I know. Something has to change and fast!

Losing any one specific game will never guarantee that a manager is sacked, so my preference is for the three points.

Anyway, irrespective of what happens in terms of results, I really dont think that Bruce will survive for too long after Yeung takes over the club. If nothing else, he is a football fan who hopes to sell this product, Birmingham City, in China.

Since we are having difficulty getting fans to turn up and watch the uninspiring football that Bruce serves up most of the time, here in Birmingham, I would think he will see that the product isn't going to be immensley popular in the People's Republic, where the populus are used to watching Man United.

Fans worried about Bruce's ineptitude just need to bide their time. The current Board's revolving contract present to Bruce is probably a good sign that they know he wont last long once they've left. They just want to look after him. If they were confident that Yeung would be impressed by Bruce's management, they wouldn't need to rush this through.

Its inevitable that one day Bruce will either leave or be sacked.

Yeung has himself said that he is looking forward to helping Bruce take the next step.. so maybe you are assuming too much in your thinking.

If this negativity is carried into the stadium what effect will it have on the players?

A question for those that know these things. what is the difference between Yeungs buy out of BCFC and that of the Russian gent at Portsmouth?? I ask this as the Russian gent funded those new players before ha had completed his take over.....is / was there anything stopping Mr Yeung doing the same thing.

.... another indication that he doesn't actually trust Bruce to spend the money wisely?

As for Yeung saying that he looked forward to 'working with Bruce for many years' - what would you expect him to say? The 'vote of confidence' has become football's standing joke. Now it's more often described as the 'dreaded vote of confidence'. I'm surprised people still take it literally......
